by Stanley Yap Gui Kang
Abstract
The purpose of this research study is to identify the possible causes that can impact the adoption behavior of virtual learning systems and methods among university students. Arguments that exist in this study draw upon management theories and surveys given over 320 university students from universities that are technology savvy. Findings in this study include the factors that influence the adoption of virtual learning among university students and its possible causes. Literature reviews in this study explains the idea of virtual learning methods that are available and how it affects students behavior to adopt it. Literature reviews also provide common examples on factors that potentially influence the adoption behavior of virtual learning methods. This study also includes a wide variety of idea and methods to allow university students to accept virtual learning methods that are available with current technology. These ideas could be served as a stepping stone to allow virtual learning to be a crucial part of the education system. The number of respondent is enough to provide analytical generalization. Although this study provides insights on factors that influence the adoption of virtual learning among university students, this study does not have the capability to test the availability of virtual learning methods in other entities other than education institutes.
