Abstract

This research project examines the post-pandemic employment trends in Malaysia between 2019 and 2023, focusing on the impact of COVID-19 in accelerating new businesses, hybrid working models, and the gig economy.

The study utilizes a quantitative research approach, incorporating relevant theories, statistical data, and a conceptual framework model to analyzethe changing employment landscape.

The objectives of the research include investigating the surge in new businesses and online transactions, exploring the adoption of hybrid working models, and examining the growth of the gig economy. The findings provide insights into the implications of these trends for jobless non-IT professionals and companies in Malaysia.

The research contributes to the understanding of the post-pandemic employment dynamics and offers recommendations for individuals and organizations navigating the evolving job market.
