Abstract

Entrepreneurs are the engine of job creation despite of most of the locations in the world.  Entrepreneurs begin with nothing more than a good idea, and translate new products and ices into vibrant businesses. In order to second and promote entrepreneurship, innovation, and creativity, the Malaysian Government has established agencies and facilities to assist °cal entrepreneurs in getting funds, grants, loans etc. for idea generations up to commercialization. 

her hands, the existence of local incubator companies such as MAD Incubator Sdn Bhd and Alam Teknokrat Sdn Bhd (SKALI Group), are also in kind to nurture entrepreneurs especially technopreneurs. So to speak, these incubators provide assistance in consultancy, physical facilities, market access etc. to assist start-up companies. 

The objective of this case study is to expose the methodology SKALI adopts in order to rture entrepreneurs in the ICT industries. One of the co-founder of SKALI, Y. M. Tengku Rithauddeen wrote a book “SKALI Lagi”, describing the journey of SKALI from its eginning, to its current stage. It is definitely an inspirational book, especially for Bumiputera entrepreneurs.
